Pearland Town Center - Houston, TX Attractions
Being new to the Houston area, this week I decided to check out fun local things to do!
As I was driving around, I stumbled upon Pearland. I didn’t realize Mirabella was a mere 13 miles from this amazing outdoor mall. This place is uber cool and brings the new trend of outdoor malls to the Houston area in a grand way! It’s based a little bit on the strip mall concept of recent years that has included Marshall’s, Best Buy, and Pets Mart et al, but here you will find stores usually only located at regular shopping malls. All the buildings are beautiful and I thought everything was laid out well. You can park anywhere and stroll through the shopping center, which gives everything a kind of “small town” feel.
As far as stores go, you will find everything from Barnes and Noble to Dillard's. There's also Express, Fossil, Brooks Brothers, Hot Topic, Forever 21, Bath and Body Works, and many more. You can stop at Cinnabon and Paciugo (among others) for a snack and justify the calories with all the walking you're doing!
They also have movies on Friday nights and live music every Saturday from 4pm to 7pm….best of all, IT’S FREE!
So if you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend….do little shopping or maybe take in a band while having a picnic Saturday night.
